PDF creation is now fully supported in Microsoft Office 2007, installed as one of those free add-ins that many users don’t even know exist. Luckily, Microsoft provides links within Office to download add-ins. To download this Office 2007 add-in, Google these words – “download Office 2007 PDF add-in” – and it should be one of the first links you see, from www.microsoft.com.

The specific file that the author alluded to is the Save as PDF Extension

The Missouri State Medical Foundation (the loan and scholarship division of the Missouri State Medical Association) turned to Delta Systems for improvements to their database system that tracks student loans. The MSMF needed an automated way of sending out statements via email. Delta Systems programmer Janet Loch enhanced the loan management system so that it now creates a custom statement as a PDF and then emails that statement as an attachment. This process is then automatically repeated for all student loan accounts with an outstanding balance.

Steve Powell, owner of Delta Systems, earned his sixth straight Show Me State Games Gold Medal (http://www.smsg.org/results/index.asp?Area=GM). In fact, everyone in his group received gold medals including his wife, Kristi, as well as his in-laws Sandy and Ron Miller!
